Dr. Vuu is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon whose career has been shaped by excellence, surgical precision, and a deep appreciation for artistry. His philosophy is simple: beautiful results, unmatched safety, and compassionate care, so every patient can feel empowered, confident, and beautiful in their own skin.  Before specializing in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Vuu completed his general surgery residency at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where he obtained board-certification. He served as Top Chief Resident, was named Resident Teacher of the Year, and received multiple awards for his academic research.  During residency, he performed life-saving surgeries at a busy level 1 trauma center, treating patients with complex trauma, cancer, vascular, cardiothoracic, and ICU/critical care needs. This high-pressure experience gave him a powerful edge in patient safety, complication management, and surgical decision-making. He also trained extensively in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery alongside some of Florida’s leading plastic surgeons, building a strong foundation in form and function.  Dr. Vuu went on to further specialize and complete a prestigious fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Los Angeles, California, where he performed over 1,000 procedures involving the body, breast, and face. His training emphasized advanced body contouring, breast enhancement, and facial aesthetics, all delivered with meticulous care and a deep understanding of natural beauty.  In addition to his surgical accomplishments, Dr. Vuu is a best-selling author and internationally recognized medical educator. His high-yield board review books and video lectures have helped thousands of medical students around the world prepare for the USMLE medical licensing exams.  As a lifelong pianist, electronic music producer, and composer, Dr. Vuu brings the eye of an artist to every surgery. He is a true perfectionist, committed to harmonizing each patient’s vision with balanced, elegant results. Above all, patient safety is his top priority.
